This very special coffee comes from the volcanic region of Mount Agung in the Kintamani highlands on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The system of irrigation used to water these plants was designed more than 1,000 years ago. These cherished beans do actually have a blue color before they are roasted. This is Jax. Not all dogs that go into rescue are looking for their forever family, sometimes they are looking for a place to live out their last days. Jax arrived at Pearl’s Place with a number of Mast Cell Tumors that had been removed before. Jax was a hospice dog that actually went to Pearl’s Place in the hopes that his tumors would shrink and he could have surgery again. Jax was a happy guy that lived each day to his fullest. Car rides, donuts, a soft couch and all the love he could stand. Unfortunately, his cancer grew at such a rate that it wasn’t possible to remove it again successfully. Buying our coffee helps Pearl's Place to help more dogs like Jax.
