Bold, Dark, Smooth Lovie is our label spokes dog. Lovie came to rescue as a young dog, a little under a year old. She was found as a stray and was only using 3 legs. Pearl's Place in Temple TX took her in and immediately took her to the Vet to see what was wrong. Lovies ball on her femur was broken. Off to surgery she went to have a femural head removal. Lovie has since recovered and gone to her forever home where she has been challenging at times to say the least. It's hard to keep a good dog down.

This very special coffee comes from the volcanic region of Mount Agung in the Kintamani highlands on the island of Bali, Indonesia.  The system of irrigation used to water these plants was designed more than 1,000 years ago. These cherished beans do actually have a blue color before they are roasted. This is Jax. Not all dogs that go into rescue are looking for their forever family, sometimes they are looking for a place to live out their last days. Jax arrived at Pearl’s Place with a number of Mast Cell Tumors that had been removed before. Jax was a hospice dog that actually went to Pearl’s Place in the hopes that his tumors would shrink and he could have surgery again. Jax was a happy guy that lived each day to his fullest. Car rides, donuts, a soft couch and all the love he could stand. Unfortunately, his cancer grew at such a rate that it wasn’t possible to remove it again successfully. Buying our coffee helps Pearl's Place to help more dogs like Jax.

Post-roast blend of beans from Africa, Central and South America Roast: Medium & Dark Molly is our girl on our Cowboy Blend. This girl was found as a stray. She was a foster girl for a while then she was taken in to Pearl’s Place. Molly is a classic Heeler. She so wants to be sweet, but she has a little grit to her game and a little reactive to strangers.  Molly is looking for her cowgirl or cowboy to be her best friend.

Our darkest roast. Slow roasted blend of specialty grade Arabica/Robusta Gramps is our rescue label dog. Gramps is a Senior that found himself in the shelter at a time in his life where he should be enjoying himself.   Gramps came to us with Heartworms, fly strike on his external ears and growth on his ear canals. This Senior was so gentle and forgiving and a lover of Chic-fil-a waffle fries. Once Gramps was healthy he was adopted by a young lady that was attending Texas A&M and was wanting a study buddy. Seniors make the best friends, Gramps knew exactly what it took to make everyone he met happy. 

Warning: High Caffeine content Medium-light , High caffeine blend of coffee. Tanzania and India Robusta Miller is our featured Rescue dog. Miller came to rescue weighing 64#, 10 years old and owner surrendered because they couldn't take care of his health issues. Miller was an intact male, which can cause prostate issues.  His bladder was ready to burst because his prostate gland was swollen. Miller had skin issues, which with time and hard work his hair grew back.   At the time of Millers adoption he weighted 105#, was slick and shiny, had been neutered and his bladder was back to working normal. Thank you for helping help him.    

Roast: Medium This smooth coffee has hints of chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla.  Delicious on it’s own or exceptional as an after dinner cordial with the Tequila or Kahlua. Single origin coffee aged 30 days in a Bourbon barrel.  Whiskey Barrel Aged . Starsky is our rescue dog that is honored to be on our Whiskey barrel label.  Starsky is 12-13 years young. Starsky spent the first 3/4 of his life chained to a tree used as a breeder. When he was removed from this life he was taken to the Shelter. Starsky spent 1.5 years in the shelter. He was blessed that at no time during his stay did any dogs loose their lives. Pearl’s Place took Starsky in and have offered him a place to live out the rest of his life if he doesn’t find his forever home. He is a spunky old man that just wants to be loved. We hope that one day he find is forever home of his own. If not he will be loved here. Each bag of coffee that is purchased helps to save a dogs life, supply food, a cool/warm house or medical care.
